Spring 2025
Thank you for your interest in our 2025 Spring baseball season! The sport of baseball has been growing well in Lemoore, and we look forward to another great season full of fun for our kids! The details for the season are listed below, but if you have any questions please feel free to reach out.
We do have some details and changes below. Please review them and let us know if you have any questions. Thank you!
Divisions: This year we have adjusted our 13 year old division to now be 13 - 16 years old.
We will also be going back to a volunteer snack bar. Details regarding the change is outlined below.
SNACK BAR:
Lemoore Little Leaague will be going back to a volunteer snack bar for the 2025 season. This helps us keep the costs manageable and keeps us from incurring costs of employees. The snack bar plays a pivitol role in fundraising for us throughout the year to keep the league running and the supplies needed for the fields/games. This is what you can expect in regards to the snack bar.
Parents will have a choice to either: volunteer in the snack bar, or purchase the buyout option ($50) instead of volunteering. (the money from the buyout helps furnish the snack bar, and pay for non volunteers to work if needed)
A volunteer schedule will be created and your team will be responsible for 2 shifts during the season. (You will not be scheduled during your child’s game. We still want you to be able to enjoy watching them play!)
The shifts/fee are for each child playing in the league. If adjustments need to be made, please reach out to a board member to discuss options.
Coaches will be responsible for letting the team know their shift times.
Coaches will not be required to do the snack bar hours or purchase the buyout. Thank you for giving your time to the kids! (If you sign up as a head or assistant coach, but are not chosen for the season, the board will discuss the volunteer hours with you prior to the season. It is possible that you may sign up to be a head coach or assistant coach, but all of the positions have been filled.)
DIVISIONS:
Tee Ball: 4 - 6 years old
AA: Machine pitch - 6 - 8 years old. (5 year olds may have the potential to play AA ONLY if they have 1 year of Tee-Ball and have a board evaluation) *6 year olds should have at least one year of Tee Ball experience. If your child does not fall into this age range, but you feel that they should play in this division, please reach out to notify the board. Form for contacting is below!
Minors: Player pitch - 8 - 10 years old. *8 year olds should have at least one year of machine pitch experience. If your child does not fall into this age range, but you feel that they should play in this division, please reach out to notify the board. Form for contacting is below!
Majors: Player pitch - 10 - 12 years old. If your child does not fall into this age range, but you feel that they should play in this division, please reach out to notify the board. Form for contacting is below!
Junior: Player pitch - 13 - 16 years old. This is a new age division for Lemoore Little League. Lemoore Little League will evaluate the number of children that sign up for this division, and will make a decision regarding play that is the best for the children and the league. This division requires some cooperation with neighboring cities, and those interested in playing this division will be notified of the progress. The season dates for this division will be different than the rest of the league, and will be updated once confirmed.
EVALUATIONS: (No Tee Ball)
January 25th & 26th: Times TBD
Your child is encouraged to attend both, but only needs to attend 1 evaluation to be draft eligible. If they do not attend evaluations, they will be placed on a team randomly.
*NEW FOR THIS YEAR: If your child needs to play up a division, or down a division due to safety concerns, they will need to attend the evaluations for both age groups. (Example: If a 9 year old possesses the skills to play in the majors division (10-12yo), they must attend the evaluations for Majors and Minors. Then, the child will be allowed to play in the Majors division IF THEY ARE DRAFTED BY A MAJORS TEAM. It is possible that teams are full, or that they would not be drafted. If that is the case, they will stay within their current age division, in this case Minors.
If you plan on attending an evaluation outside of their age group, please let us know ahead of time so that they can be added to the evaluation sheets.
TEAMS:
You should hear from a coach and expect to get started with the season by about mid February. Practice schedules are determined by your coach.
OPENING CEREMONIES:
Opening ceremonies will be March 8th: Times TBD.

Evaluation Requests
If your child does not fall within the age group of a specific division that you would like them to participate in (too young, or too old), then please fill out the form below. Our board members and a committee will perform an evaluation of the skill level of the child, and will determine if that child should participate in the requested division. It is possible for a child to play a division higher if they possess the skills and necessities to stay safe at the level, or a child may play down a level if there are concerns about safety and skill level. We will do our best to be transparent in the process and work with the child and parents to make sure you get the best baseball experience possible.
